"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind... We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith." -- Margaret D. Nadauld

Family Theme Song

Does your family have a theme song? Ours does!! Whenever we travel for a long distance (i.e. over 30 minutes) we plug the iPod in and search out this song. All four of us join in and sing at the top of our voice. This clip has Garth and Wayne in it, but you could substitute Max and Me as Wayne and Garth in the front (I'm usually driving), with Buttercup and Inigo in the backseat...of course head banging is included....

Lately, however, we seem to be gravitating toward a new song:

This song is being played CONSTANTLY at home and in the car!!! We sing it in our LOUDEST voices.... thankfully it's still very cold outside and the windows are closed/rolled up.

Max hasn't fully jumped on board with singing this song -- he's a classics kind of guy -- so I can't say it's fully replaced Bohemian Rhapsody as our "Family Theme Song," but we've been having a blast with it!

I have one question however, how in the world do we get our hands on a sweet, baby blue Gremlin?

Bohemian Rhapsody was played a lot at our house--but I have to say I've never been one to sing it ; )

For years ours was The Circle of Life--with dad doing the beginning few bars, and believe me it was always good for lots of laughs.

Bohemian Rhapsody....what a great song. Too bad the Glee video doesn't work any more.
My husband (he's old) would plug in the Everly Brothers whenever we'd go long distances with the fam. Our family song was "Wake Up Little Suzie"
Our kids still sing it! Maybe it's time for another one?

I hope that I can witness this someday.
