"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind... We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith." -- Margaret D. Nadauld

Leaking Eyes

How pathetic am I?
Twice today....
TWICE!!!
my eyes started leaking when I talked about the kids going back to school this week.
I tried to keep them dry. I tried not to get too sappy and sentimental when I talked about the fact that my daughter will be in 12th grade and my son will be in first.
I couldn't help it.
Most moms look forward to getting the kids out of the house and having all that extra time to themselves.
Not me.
I get lonely.
I miss them.
The silence of the house is deafening.
*sniff*

Chocolate.
I will console myself with chocolate.
Add some peanut butter to the mix and I might survive until 2:15 when the bell rings and they can come home.

I must admit, it gets crazy with all 5 at home for homeschooling, but I love having them around.

BTW: you could always fill 20-60 minutes of your day with facebook again! It's not the same without you!

I TOTALLY understand. Chocolate and peanut butter sounds like the PERFECT solution ; )

I hope you survive having your kids back in school. I still have 2 at home so I am still in the "clean up messes all day long" stage.
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I was hoping someone else had some experience with the juvenile arthritis. I am glad your stories have pretty good outcomes.
