"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind... We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith." -- Margaret D. Nadauld

Poor Johnny Cash. He probably wants to take that Ring of Fire and wrap it around Adam Lambert's neck.
Yuck.

haha I'm so with you! I was so disappointed/disgusted in his performance last night. I mean I know he isn't country... but still... So who are your favorites this season?? Are you having a hard time getting attached like I am without the david's on there? ;) and did you get tickets to the David Archuleta concert on Friday!?

I couldn't even watch the whole thing!!!! I'm not an AI watcher, but since you posted...I didn't like his arrangement AT ALL.

Trevor couldn't stand it...I actually liked the twist on the old version. I so mad that someone else didn't go home though...

WHAT? You didn't like it?? I'm so shocked! Mike and I LOVED it!!! We rewound it twice. He has a range like no other man on Earth (well, except for Sebastian Bach and Steven Tyler). I also thought it was a testiment to what a great writer June Cash was. It's a song that transcends generes. I actually think Adam's approach embodies the meaning of the lyrics more than Johnny's did. I agree with Kristi, though. Alexis shouldn't have gone home. I didn't like her presentation of Jolene, but there were others that did worse. Oh well, that's the great thing about Idol: you never know what you're gonna get!

I know, I'm weird but I liked this performance. I thought it was so interesting and creative. Some of the songs they do are so boring that I have a hard time paying attention but this one kept me riveted.
