"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind... We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith." -- Margaret D. Nadauld

Family Fun

We had a couple hours at my sister, Red's, house in Orem before we headed to the Temple (see previous post). My parents were there hanging out. Mom is still recovering from that nasty cold that swept through our local valley and Dad was busy nailing a chair rail to the wall in Red's library/office...

We pulled him away from his saw and compressor long enough to grab some lunch and head to the local park for some fun and sun. It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!! It made us hungry for spring... since we're still encased in snow and cold weather here in Florin. It actually got up to about 60*. Max thinks he got his first bald-head sunburn at the park. I was jealous. I just got more wrinkles and sun damage.

Inigo gets a little "put out" by the camera always being pointed in his direction. He thinks the photographer is picking on him. If he took time to notice, he would realize that it's NOT always pointed at him and he might be a little grateful for some "face time." But until that happens, we occasionally get pictures that look like this. You can hear him say, "GAH!! I DON'T WANT MY PICTURE TAKEN!"

Thanks Red, M&D for letting us crash the party for a while!! It was nice soaking up some vitamin D with you. However, next time I hope to plan a little better to have more available time so I can hang with you, the MG -- SJA.
